Covidiots in Silicon Valley
I live in Santa Clara. Known to the world as “Silicon Valley”. Just ten miles from the headquarters for Facebook, Google, etc. Home to a lot of well educated, intelligent people. That doesn’t mean we don’t have our share of idiots; though, in this case, “covidiots” is more apt.
Walking my dogs yesterday morning I walked by one of the parks near my home and saw a group of approximately 20 young men playing basketball. Without face mask, of course, and pretty much by definition without social distancing. No doubt they think that by virtue of being young and in good shape they’re immune to SARS-Cov-2. Or at least won’t have serious symptoms if they do get infected. What these cretinous covidiots don’t seem to consider is that for each one of them that is infected it is likely they’ll infect two or more people. People like their parents and grandparents. Perhaps their child who will be one of the small, but not insignificant, percentage of young people who will die or suffer long term damage.
If covidiots want to risk their own lives they should use a traditional means such as jumping out of an airplane wearing a parachute packed by a blind person. Or sticking their dicks in a light socket. What is unacceptable is their insistence on putting everyone else at risk.
